Kevin ‘Bubba’ Bond had a perfect night at the Cahokia Creek Dirt Riders night hill climb  on their grounds near White City, Illinois.  Bubba won all three classes he entered and took the Fast Time award.  His fast time came in the 600cc class where he topped the 130 foot hill in 3.823 seconds.  Riding his vintage 1986 KDX 200, Bond stretched his season points lead by winning the 200cc class with a time of 6.142 seconds.  The third win came in the Open Stock class where he turned in the second fastest ride of the night, a 4.017 second effort on his CRF450 Honda Thumper.  Mike Wargo challenged hard in this class, with a fine 4.040 second run on his YZ450F Yamaha.

            Nick Gerl was a double class winner, taking the 250cc class with a nice 4.112 second run on his Honda, with Robby Noyes carding a 4.181 second time on his Kawasaki for second place.

            Gerl’s second win came in the 400cc Stock class where he sailed his CR250 over the top in 4.292 seconds for the win.  Kendall Lowery claimed second place with a 4.685 second run on his Yamaha.

            The Bond family recorded  an even better winning night when Bubba’s father, Kevin L. Bond, took the Senior class win with a 4.358 second time on the ‘family’ KX500, with John Potter running second of his Kaw triple.  Then Potter’s father, Richard, claimed the Super Senior class win with a 4.700 second run on his KX500, with Tom Compton  taking second on his Harley.

            In youth class action, Branson Stevenson won the 50cc class, David Alhauers grabbed the 85cc Junior Mini win while Mitchell Missel took the 85cc Senior Mini win and the Youth Fast Time with a 6.615 second time.
