KING CITY DIRT RIDERS HOLD KATIE FISHER BENEFIT

The King City Dirt Riders dedicated their the D-17 season ending hillclimb weekend to Katie Fisher. Katie, the daughter of Bob ‘Flyin’ Fish’ Fisher, a D-17 hillclimbing living legend, was tragically very seriously injured in an automobile accident in May.

The King City club obtained a $100 donation from Shields Telecomm and $400 from Audiovizions Stereo, then matched it with $500 of their own through t-shirt sales and donations, sending a $1,000 check to the Katie Fisher Fund.

Katie is fighting hard, with the dedicated attention of her dad and mother, Phyllis, her aunts, and so many other caring relatives and friends. She is working hard on standing, talks more and more and smiles and laughs. A major goal is to be walking by Christmas.

As always, the Fishers are asking only for your prayers. But the medical costs are extremely high, and the monetary support of their hillclimbing and motorcycle family has been coming through with generous donations. Donations can be made to the Katie Fisher Fund and sent either to:
