I personally have known Harry and his family for years - his father Bob, mother Renae, his brothers Jackson and Cole, even know a few of his extended family.  Never met an Exner I didn't like.  The Exner boys are all talented riders...each one a champion.  The family had competed in District 23 (and 16) hillclimb for many years, and they recently began racing motocross too.  Harry was a bright, handsome young man with a promising future ahead of him.  In all the years I knew him, from when he was small enough for me to toss around in a hotel pool, he was always a great kid and a pleasure to be around.

It is always difficult to lose someone - and ever more so when that someone is so young and so well-liked.  Harry's absence will be hard to get used to...all who knew him will miss him greatly.  Now we have only his memory - and the friendship of the rest of his family.  I am sure that I speak for the whole of the hillclimb community when I say that our hearts and minds are with the Exner family at this time of tragedy, and hope only the best for the family in the future.

Please stop by the visitation and/or funeral to give your last respects to Harry if you have the opportunity to do so, or drop a card in the mail to the funeral home.  Here is a link to the obituary in the Red Wing Republican Eagle:  http://www.republican-eagle.com/event/obituary/id/70837/
