Krause Racing/ Sidewinder sprockets

so, 8/5/09 i ordered a sprocket and chain from this company grand tottal of 460$. they said i would have it by the big nasty. i told them my original chain was 146 pins and i wanted to go up 3 teeth on my rear sprocket to a 56. he says ok i will ship a 160, and everything should be there before i go to the big nasty over a month away. and i understand that a 56 tooth rear sprocket is a speacial order. i told them everything was for a 520 set up. 3 weeks go by and i recieve a chain in the mail... its a 530.. geting close to race time...i call them back the next day and say i got a 530 and i ordered a 520 he says ok go ahead and ship it back well send you the right one. i ship it back and a week later nothing.. so i give them a call he says ohh we havent recieved it yet i say bull shi! it got there tuesday last week. he says well when you get home get the tracking number and call me back and tell me who signed for it. ok so the next day i call them back because they are in IL and they are closed when i get home so i tell him phill signed for it.. he says ok we will ship that chain right away. call back a few days later he says it went out sat.... ok call back tuesday for tracking number and shows it went out mon and it wont be in till fri...well fri i will be in idaho!. i call him back. i need that chain by WED!! he says we can bill you for another chain and when the friday chain gets there just dont sign for it and when we get it back we will refund you the money. i get it overnighted gets here wed, great! .....too short! im freaking pulling my hair out! ohh and the sprocket got here at a descent time.. but their sprockets are narrower than a standard 520! he says its the strongest thing they have and its .030 thinner than a standard. i told him i was running a hillclimb bike and an extended swingarm he should know with his over 20 years in chains and sprockets that the longer it gets the more slop you get we dont need to add more by making the sprocket more narrow! soo after all this i need to splice in a piece of chain to make it work pray to someone that the thing stays on the sprocket, and ive been billed for 2 chains which the first one was 269 the second was 349. and im ready to .........do alot of bad things. bunch of monkeys running this business. consider yourself WARNED!!!

Sprockets and chain

Hey, if you ever need any mor chain or sprockets let me know! I have a place in So Cal. that can send you send in bulk any length you want. I have never had a problem and it has held up well for me! Also idf you need custom sprockets cal sprocket specialist chances are they would have had a 56 in otherwise I think it's only a 48 hr deal to make it as long as it's a standard aluminum. These people have never done me wrong I have ordered chain and had it to my door step in two days everytime 10' 20' whatever you want cut it yourself for whatever you want.

WPS out of Boise Idaho makes some good stuff. Ask size and strength and they will sell it to you in 25 ft with 5 master links
