DISTRICT 17 MIDSEASON POINT LEADERS

The mid season points leader hats were distributed at the Pleasure Riders hillclimb on July 25 by D-17 Hillclimb Director, Bud Northrup. Three riders emerged as dual point leaders. Jared McKay received hats for leading in the 250cc class and the Open Stock class. Josh Denson was the leader in both the 600cc and 600cc 4-stroke classes, while Steve Shafer was the top guy in both the Open and Open Pushrod classes.

Some very tight races are occurring in many classes. Denson had only a single point lead over Cody Jenner in the 600cc class, and only 7 points separated the top 3 riders in the 125cc class, R.D. Miller, III, Bubba Bond and Brent Bowman. Jake Tackitt was only 4 points up on Gordon Green in the 200cc class, and Bud Northrup was leading Ron Todd by only a single point in the Super Senile class.
