The upper 3/4 or so of Illinois is AMA District 17. The southern part of
the state is part of District 18, with the state of Missouri (that's why the
bottom part of the D17 logo is blue, while the rest is white). District 17
hosts many forms of off-road motorcycle racing, as well as road events.
Like District 16, the D17 council oversees both on- and off-road activities.
