The Central Illinois Motorcycle Club of Neoga, Illinois, runs its own King of the Hill series for riders at their events only.  The series is appreciated by the riders, as the club provides excellent season trophies to the top riders in all their classes, and it proves to be an extra incentive for riders to come participate in the CIMC hill climbs.

The closest race this year occurred in the tiny 50cc Class, where Logan Moody claimed the title by only 5 points over Dakota Watson.  Young Moody rode all five events and had a win, a second , two thirds and a fourth to his credit.  Watson had two wins and two seconds, but missed one event, so Moody claimed the title.  The club uses the District 17 points schedule to determine their winners.

R.D. Miller III was an impressive winner in the large and hotly contested 125cc class as he claimed wins in all five of the series events on his KX125.  Kevin ‘Bubba’ Bond nearly pulled off the same feat in the 200cc class, winning the first four events, but finishing second in the last one.  Paul Hillard and Steve Shafer, riding often unopposed in the 750cc, Open and Pushrod classes also compiled perfect point totals.

Matt Peters, Jared McKay, Hillard and Shafer were all double class winners.  Peters took his wins in the highly competitive 250cc class and added the tough 450cc class also.  McKay was the best in the super fast 600cc class, and also claimed the Open Stock title.  Hillard claimed the title in the 750cc class, and came from one point behind on the last day to overtake Jim Mahan and claim the 2-Stroke Quad title also.  Shafer rode his smooth running Harley to the title in both the Open and Open Pushrod classes.
