Cody Jenner was unbeatable at the Central Illinois M/C night hillclimb, winning his two classes with the top two fastest times of the night.

Riding his CR500, he flew over the steep and rough 100 foot hill in 2.336 seconds on his first ride.  That time would hold up for the class win, and also the Fast Time of the Day award.  Matt Peters was his closest competitor with a very good 2.394 second ride on his KX500, also the 3rd fastest time of the day.

Jenner was just as good in the Open Class, blasting his big four cyclinder Kawasaki over in 2.337 seconds on his first ride – just 1 thousandth of a second off his 600cc class ride.  This time took the Open class ride and was second fastest of the evening.  Paul Hillard topped the hill in 2.615 seconds on his Kawasaki triple for second place.

The Peters family had a good evening, as Matt did claim a win in the 250cc class with a quick  2.429 second on his Honda – the 4th fastest time of the night.  Matt’s son Levi was the winner in the 50cc class, the only rider to top the youth hill, doing it in 6.684 seconds on his little KTM50, with Reece Hutton in second with a 88 foot effort.

Matt’s brother, Mark Peters, rode his KTM550 to the win in the Senior (40+) class.  His 2.600 second first round ride was good for the win with Mike Pulver second.. And Mark’s son, Mike Peters, took the 200cc class win on his vintage KDX200 with a 3.427 second ride.  All in all, quite a good evening for the Peters family.

In youth class action, Jammin’ Joe McGurer took the Youth Fast Time award with his 3.208 second run on the youth hill to win the Senior Mini on his KX85.  ‘Dangerous’ Dylan Brady was second. Logan Moody took the 65cc class win with a 3.720 second ride on his KX65 with Clayton Hirsch second, while Brett Kalaher was fast in the Junior Mini class with a 3.279 second winning time with Moody second.
