The Pleasure Riders hosted a hill climb on Sunday, July 9 at their club grounds near Cayuga, Indiana.  Mark Schroeder set the early fast time with a fine 4.260 second run on his first ride in the 250cc class, which held up until Tom Brown sailed his CR500 over the top in a blazing 4.112 seconds, which most thought would hold up for the Fast Time.  But young Justin Trent startled everyone with an incredible 4.078 second run on his CR500 to slip under Brown and take the 600 class lead and Fast Time into intermission.  That time would prove to hold up for the entire day, with Brown staying in second.

            Schroeder’s time held up for the 250cc class win with Shane Green a close second.  Schroeder enjoyed a double win day on his YZ250 as he also was the fastest in the 400cc Stock class, carding a 4.281 time on his first ride to win that class for the second day in a row.  Danny Schuman placed second on his KX250.  Schroeder also  added a second place in the 450cc class with a 4.594 second ride on Bud Northrup’s YZ450F, finishing behind Shane Green, who won the class for the second straight day with a 4.477 second time on his KTM 380. 

            Mike Pulver was also a double class winner on his Honda CR500.  His first win came in the Senior (+40) class with a 4.449 second time, following that with a 4.516 second winning time in the Open Stock class.

            Dylan Brady took the Youth Fast Time award on his CR85 with a 5.334 second time to win the 85cc Senior Mini class. In other youth action, D.J. Watson took the 50cc class win, Brett Kalaher was the best of the 65cc riders and Joe McGurer won the Junior Mini class.
