             ‘Fast Andy’ Fortner continued his fast riding on May 1, after taking the Fast Time of the Day award the night before.  On Sunday, Fortner delivered an outstanding 4.290 second time on his first ride.  As on Saturday evening, no one was able to match that all day, but Fast Andy rode again, sailing high over the top in an unbelievable 4.088 seconds .   Young Caleb Emory grabbed the Youth Fast Time award with a fine 5.575 second ride on his KX85 to win the 85cc Junior Mini class.

             Like the night before,Fortner’s  closest challenge for Fast Time came from the 250cc class, this time from Matt Peters, who claimed that class win with a 4.319 second run on his KTM. Justin Trent was his closest competitor in the 600cc class with a nice 4.363 second time.

            Matt Peters was a double class winner, following his outstanding win in the 250cc class with a win in the 450cc class.  Riding his KTM380, Peters flew over the top in 4.819 seconds to take that class win.

            Several riders scored their second class wins of the weekend.  ‘Blazin’ Blake Cappello took his second 85cc Senior Mini class win, ‘Crazy Jake’ did it in the 200cc class, Jason Northrup doubled in the Open class, Scott Petty repeated in the Senior (+40) class, and Mark Schroeder got his second in the 400cc Stock class.
