Bev Byer

Name:  Bev Byer Hometown:  Waseca, MN
Bev started taking pictures of motocross in the late 1970s and when her husband (Dave) switched to hillclimbing she continued taking pictures.  She is a regular at all the District 16 and 23 hillclimbs, and takes some excellent photos.

In addition to King of the Hill, Bev's photos and articles have appeared in Cycle USA, American Motorcyclist, and Indianhead M/C's website.

When not attending an event with her husband and daughter Janelle, Bev enjoys gardening, cooking, bowling, traveling, and road riding.

When asked how she got into moto-journalism, Bev had this to say:

bullet

I took pictures for the District 23 award book. That led to writing for Cycle USA and the pictures added to the articles. Then Janelle, my daughter, took over writing and I continued contributing pictures.

Many, if not most, of the photos in the King of the Hill gallery were contributed by Bev - the better the photo, the better the chance that Bev took it.  King of the Hill is grateful for Bev's contributions, and looks forward to the next batch!  Thanks Bev!
